About Contrapak

Our Aim is to offer a total flexible service where the customer can choose the level of control from conceptual designs, material sourcing and packing through to warehousing and distribution.

The head office is based in Rotherwas and is staffed by a team of dedicated professionals from within the packaging industry who are committed to quality, innovation, service and cost performance.

Contrapak has two main divisions with their own dedicated production facilities, Kingstone (chemical) and Rotherwas (pet food and hand packing).

Our areas of expertise are sachets and bagging, blending and formulation, shrink wrapping, labelling, pouch filling, liquid filling, precision counting, hand assembly and repacking.

The Kingstone site has extensive blending and packing facilities across 9 individual production units totalling 12,000 sq ft, for liquid, powder and granular chemicals. Some have atmospherically controlled rooms, some are IP65 rooms, some have specialist extraction and others have been converted to meet Atex requirements.

The Rotherwas site has a wide range of weighing and packing machines, state of the art counting equipment and a range of ancillary equipment such as coders, labellers, heat sealers, riveters and case sealers. Our hand packing facility has 8000 sq ft of production space and utilises roller conveyors with large bespoke packing tables, void filling systems, label applicators, heat shrinkers and ink jet coders, and also provides in house stock management, label and barcode generation, warehousing and distribution.
